Solar Lighting System

Solar Street Light And Solar Home Lighting : Solar street lights are raised light sources which are powered by photovoltaic panels generally mounted on the lighting structure or integrated in the pole itself. The photovoltaic panels charge a rechargeable battery, which powers a fluorescent or LED lamp during the night. Every solar lighting system work autonomously, removing the need of trench for the installation of standard electric wires and also the need of giving electric bills for the rest of the life. Solar Street lights have been installed in many places, such as: freeways, highways, rural roads, and neighbourhood streets etc.,which are able to provide sustainability, security and overall green image.

Rooftop Solar Plant: Electricity produced from non renewable sources is becoming expensive day by day. This results into a supply and demand gap. The DG sets used to manage emergency electricity needs are causing a lot of damage to the environment. So now the time has come to shift our focus to some renewable energy source to fulfil our electricity needs. Rooftop solar plant model is the best choice according to customer’s choice while shifting to solar energy. This model can be used both for home and commercial uses. For this type of installation the roof should meet the structural specification required to mount the structure. We have installed and commissioned a cumulative capacity of 100MW SPV power plant. The numbers also include over 1050 Solar Home lighting Systems installation. In the on-sight segment we have worked clients such as ABB, B.H.E.L, CEL, Jakson Engineers Ltd(NTPC) and many more.



Solar PV PowerPlant

Solar PV Power Plant: It is typically designed for specific requirements i.e. the capacity of power plant varies from 1 KWp to 25 KWp. Emergency power supply can be availed at any time for 4 hours or more per day subject to increase in module capacity. This consists of SPV modules in arrays, re-chargeable battery bank, power conditioning unit i.e. inverter or charge controller etc. When sunlight falls on the SPV module, DC current is produced, which is stored in a battery bank. The inverter converts the DC current from the battery into AC current which, in turn, is used for operating various loads, like lights, fans etc. It has no moving parts and is easy to run and maintain. The electricity produced from this system is not dependent on outside power grid and work as an independent source of electricity. These photo voltaic solar system works independently from the grid to fulfil all household electricity demands.



Configuration of a Typical SPV power plant:: SPV power plant mainly comprises of SPV modules in arrays, charge controller or inverter, rechargeable battery bank etc. SPV module produces DC current by using sunlight. This produced DC current is then stored in a battery bank. The power conditioner unit (i.e. inverter) then converts the DC current to AC current. Then the AC current can be used for operating various loads such as Fans, Refrigerator, TV etc. But the total load should be restricted to the capacity of the SPV power plant module.



Advantages: : - It has only static parts. So maintenance is simple and low cost. - Emergency power supply can be availed and it’s uninterrupted. - Generates electricity from renewable energy sources, so it is environment friendly and less costly.

Ground Mounting: Standard ground mounts use metal framing driven into the ground to hold your solar panels up at a fixed angle. Pole mounts support multiple solar panels on a single pole, and elevate panels higher off the ground than a standard ground mount.

Solar Chilars: are one of the most effective and efficient ways to heat and cool buildings using only the power of the sun i.e. the air conditioning system.



Solar Energy: heats fluid that provides heat to the generator of an absorption chiller and is recirculated back to the collectors. The heat provided to the generator drives a cooling cycle that produces chilled water.
